Role & contribution
My role was to design and implement the user interfaces to directly simulate MGS UI in both look and esthetics functionality. I also work with the primary level designer to implement the gameplay transitional loop and feel between levels. Working with the Enemy AI programmer I was able to program and design a key stealth "Hide" mechanic of the MGS franchise.

Project reflection
This project was the turning point for me. It was my fifth project overall, but my second collaborative. This project challenged me the most, as it marked my first time working in Unreal Engine, a software platform I had never encountered before. During this project, I had the opportunity to witness both the negative and positive aspects of how crucial and beneficial teamwork and communication skills can be.

Coming in as the least experienced team member, my driven ambition to challenge myself allowed me to assume a pivotal role in the project. Through this experience, I not only had the chance to create a nostalgic user experience for the player but also effectively identified my strengths and weaknesses. Additionally, I was able to grasp a growing niche for UI design, showcasing my adaptability and a burgeoning proficiency in this area.
